Horse clinic expands mission in brand new hospital

“Stone decided it was time to upgrade and open an equine hospital with the latest and best technology, ensuring the highest level of care he could provide. The result is Stone Ridge Equine Care’s new home, on Boonville-New Harmony Road, west of U.S. 41 near the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center.

Stone Ridge’s new facility opened July 1, and for the first time, it doesn’t’ stop with equine care.

A second part of the business, Stone Ridge Animal Care, was created to care for small animals. Its staff veterinarian is Bryan Helms, who practiced in Warrick County for the last several years.”

Stone said he wanted his new facility to serve small family pets, in addition to horses, “and we felt there was a need here on the North Side. It’s a growing area, and we’re in a good location by the 4-H Center.”
