Rebecca Willis

Rebecca joined the Stone Ridge Animal Care team in June of 2020 and has been working in veterinary medicine for over 10 years. She started working in the kennels as a veterinary assistant in high school. She graduated from Vincennes University with a degree in Business Management and has a Certificate of Veterinary Practice Management from Purdue University. She is our resident Crazy Cat Lady and enjoys reading and studying cat behavior and husbandy. Rebecca has earned the Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional Certificate from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). The certificate demonstrates her commitment to advancing the standards of care for cats. The knowledge, skills and best in-clinic practices she achieved provide for better feline-focused care to our clients and patients. Rebecca is also currently a student of Purdue University's Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning program, where she is studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. 

In her free time, Rebecca loves to watch movies, read, study foreign language, and, go hiking with her family's two dogs, Nitschke and Hutson. She is a Vincennes native where she currently resides with her six cats, Ned, Nora, Teagan, Hoppy, Nico Neko , and Morris.
