Dr. RH Stone III, D.V.M., Owner Dr. Stone graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. After a year of practice with Dr. Don Cates and Dr. Bryan Helms at St. Joe Vet Clinic he returned to practice with his father Dr. Raymond Stone Jr. in Sturgis KY. In 1999 he relocated to the North side of Evansville IN. There, he and his wife Linda Stone established Stone Ridge Equine Care, LLC. Dr. Stone has two daughters Dr. Lauren Stone, a local dentist, and Kailyn Stone a senior at Memorial High School. DR. BRYAN HELMS, D.V.M., OWNER A graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Helms enjoys a mixed practice of all types of animals, including beef, dairy, sheep, and goats. Utilizing more than 33 years of experience in the tri-state area he offers extensive knowledge in small animal medicine and surgery as well. He and his wife Susan Helms have two daughters, Laura and Amanda. Dr. Helms is also very excited about his first grand baby! DR. CATE OSTERMAN, D.V.M. Dr. Cate (Fritchley) Osterman, the newest member of the team, is a 2018 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Born and raised on Evansville’s North side, Cate brings an assortment of small and large animal experience. She was an active 10 year 4-H member and is still involved in 4-H today. Cate, along with her husband Drew, have one rescued greyhound (so far) named Tater. She has always loved animals and is excited to start her career at Stone Ridge! Small Animal Clinic Staff LINDA STONE, OWNER | OFFICE MANAGER Linda graduated in 1983 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She met Dr. Stone while employed at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine as a Large Animal reproductive and embryo transfer tech. Linda returned to school to obtain her RN license in 1992 and worked in that field for several years, until relocating her family to Evansville IN to establish Stone Ridge Equine Care, LLC. Her biggest thrill has been serving as horse show mom for daughter Lauren, now a local Dentist and a soccer mom for daughter Kailyn a senior at Memorial High School. BECKY WAGNER, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN Becky graduated with honors from the Veterinary Technology program through Harrison College in 2012, then went on to pass her Veterinary Technician National Exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She is also currently an instructor at Harrison College in the Veterinary Technology program. After college, she joined a mixed animal practice where she gained valuable knowledge and sharpened her technical skills. She joined Stone Ridge Animal Care and brought with her a passion for patient care and client education. MACY LENNARTZ, SRAC RECEPTIONIST Macy graduated from Harrison High School in 2013. She has always had a passion for customer service and started working at sixteen for Premiere Tan. She was also a preschool and kindergarten teacher for three years at The Garden School. For the past year and a half she’s been working in the retail and home improvement industry at Lowe’s. Macy has had a passion for helping animals as well as people her entire life and can’t wait to begin her journey with Stone Ridge Animal Care! Julia Bohlen, Veterinary Assistant Jules is currently a Biology major at The University of Southern Indiana. She has worked as an Auto CAD technician, banquet server, and dairy hand. She is now taking on her new role as our Veterinary Assistant. Her interests are cows, fishing, and spending time with her siblings, all seven of them.
